    Objective:In order to raise extract ion ratio and reduce solvent waste, the extraction technology of Flos Lonicerae was improved. Methods:First, the Flos Lonicerae was humidified with litt le ethanol-water solution, and then the chlorogenic acid was extracted by boilli ng water with whisk. Results:The extraction ratio of chlorogenic acid was 7.8 9 %. The content of chlorogenic acid was 16.7% in extract. These results were h igher than those of traditional extraction methods, but the wastage of ethanol o nly was 6% of extracting with ethanol. Conclusion:The new technology has available value in extra ction of chlorogenic acid.

    Objective: To optimize the extraction process of chlorogenic acid in flos lonicerae.Methods: The flos lonicerae was treated by means of cellulase and/or pectolase before extracted by ethanol reflux, studying the enzyme dosage, treatment time, treatment temperature how to influence the percentage of extraction of flos lonicerae and the amount of chlorogenic acid in extrction.Results: The percentage of extraction of flos lonicerae and the amount of chlorogenic acid in extrction could be obviously increased by the cellulase treatment, 8.15g chlorogenic acid could be extracted from 100g flos lonicerae. The optimum temperature of treatment was 40℃~50℃; The percentage of extraction was higher by the combined treatment of cellulase and pectilase than by cellulase only, but the amount of chlogenic acid was not obviously different between these two methods.Conclusion: The amount of chlorogenic acid in extrction could be increased by enzymic treatment.

    To investigate the stability of chlorogenic acid in extract of flos lonicerae in different conditions.The stability of chlorogenic acid in extract of flos lonicerae in phosptat buffe with different pH values, methanol, ethanol and different base solutions(Ca(OH)2 and NaOH) was investigated by the classical isothermal method.The experiments showed the chlorogenic acid in extract of flos lonicerae was more stable in acidic water than in basic water. It was stable in these organic solutions and base solution[Ca(OH)2].In different conditions, the stability of chlorogenic acid in extract of flos lonicerae was different. It provided a reference to the extraction and analysis of chlorogenic acid and production of chlorogenic acid preparation.

    The extracting process of Chlorogenic acid from Flos Lonicerae was studied with different concentrations of ethanol. The processes were then optimized by orthogonal test, and Chlorogenic acid was determined by UV. The effects of concentration of ethanol, folds of ethanol, refluxing time, pH and extracting temperature on Chlorogenic acid content were studied. The result showed that the optimum extracting technology of Chlorogenic acid from Flos Lonicerae includes the extraction conditions of 10 folds of 50% ethanol , dip in 70℃ water , pH=7 , refluxing for 2 times and 1 h each time.

    UV absorption performance,light stability and pH stability of chlorogenic acid in Flos lonicerae as well as sunscreen performance of its formulated product were investigated. Results showed that UV absorption spectrum of the Flos lonicerae extract ranges between 280 ~ 350 nm,with good UV absorbing performance.Chlorogenic acid has photochemical activity that results in photodegradation reaction. Retention ratio of the chlorogenic acid in the Flos lonicerae extract solution decreases as the irradiation time increases,with a retention ratio of 85. 6% after an irradiation time of 8 h. The chlorogenic acid is rather stable when pH is a range of 3 ~ 7. Vitro evaluation for SPF of sunscreen cream formulated with Flos lonicerae extract depends on content of chlorogenic acid in the extract. As the mass fraction of chlorogenic acid in the extract achieves2. 15%,SPF of sunscreen cream formulated with the extract achieves 15.

    Objective To compare the effect of different processing methods and producing areas on the appearance and the chlorogenic acid content of Flos Lonicerae.Method Six processing methods and the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae was determined by HPLC.Result The appearance and the chlorogenic acid content of Flos Lonicerae was different greatly,and the content of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae from high to low as follows:dried by roastdried by expectoration drainagedried by fumigated with sulphur dried by frydried by sun curingdried by airing.Conclusion the appearance of the material dried by roast is the best and chlorogenic acid content of it is the highest,so this method should be popularized and applied.

    We summed up the common methods of the extraction process of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerare to determine the optimal method of extracting chlorogenic acid with the results:The extraction process of ethanol B is optimum.The optimum extraction conditions are 6 fold of 40% ethanol,pH=6,dip in 80℃ water,refluxing 2.5h.The content of chlorogenic acid is fairly high.
