Abstract:
There is a growing need for integrating environmentally sound choices into supply‐chain management research and practice. Perusal of the literature shows that a broad frame of reference for green supply‐chain management (GrSCM) is not adequately developed. Regulatory bodies that formulate regulations to meet societal and ecological concerns to facilitate growth of business and economy also suffer from its absence. A succinct classification to help academicians, researchers and practitioners in understanding integrated GrSCM from a wider perspective is needed. Further, sufficient literature is available to warrant such classification. This paper takes an integrated and fresh look into the area of GrSCM. The literature on GrSCM is covered exhaustively from its conceptualization, primarily taking a ‘reverse logistics angle’. Using the rich body of available literature, including earlier reviews that had relatively limited perspectives, the literature on GrSCM is classified on the basis of the problem context in supply chain's major influential areas. It is also classified on the basis of methodology and approach adopted. Various mathematical tools/techniques used in literature vis‐à‐vis the contexts of GrSCM are mapped. A timeline indicating relevant papers is also provided as a ready reference. Finally, the findings and interpretations are summarized, and the main research issues and opportunities are highlighted. Keywords:

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively review the domestic research of caseconceptualization elements and suggest how consented case conceptualization can bedeveloped. To this end, 7 studies of case conceptualization elements were reviewed. Bycomparing collected case conceptualization elements in general counseling, common areas ofelements were founded. It might be agreed to develop integrative case conceptualization infuture. Considering reviewed case conceptualization elements in specific counseling, it couldprovide a possibility to develop a case conceptualization elements for children and adolescents. Also, counseling area with distinct characteristic about clients or situations might be need todevelop a case conceptualization element list of their own.

We present a method called TIMEMACHINE to generate a timeline of events and relations for entities in a knowledge base. For example for an actor, such a timeline should show the most important professional and personal milestones and relationships such as works, awards, collaborations, and family relationships. We develop three orthogonal timeline quality criteria that an ideal timeline should satisfy: (1) it shows events that are relevant to the entity; (2) it shows events that are temporally diverse, so they distribute along the time axis, avoiding visual crowding and allowing for easy user interaction, such as zooming in and out; and (3) it shows events that are content diverse, so they contain many different types of events (e.g., for an actor, it should show movies and marriages and awards, not just movies). We present an algorithm to generate such timelines for a given time period and screen size, based on submodular optimization and web-co-occurrence statistics with provable performance guarantees. A series of user studies using Mechanical Turk shows that all three quality criteria are crucial to produce quality timelines and that our algorithm significantly outperforms various baseline and state-of-the-art methods.

Timeline-based editing provides users an intuitive and friendly way of multimedia authoring, but the schedule-based and deterministic property of the timeline results in a lack of ability to support non-deterministic temporal behavior, which is one of the key features of SMIL2.0. This paper presents the efforts to support non-deterministic temporal behavior by timeline-based editing. The concept of dividable dynamic timeline (DDT) is proposed in the paper, which includes two novel features: dividable timeline and dynamic section. With DDTL, authors can create interactive multimedia presentations while enjoying the convenience of the timeline. Mechanisms for converting from DDTL editing results to SMTL2.0 are also presented in the paper

In the timeline-based approach to planning, the evolution over time of a set of state variables (the timelines) is governed by a set of temporal constraints. Traditional timeline-based planning systems excel at the integration of planning with execution by handling temporal uncertainty. In order to handle general nondeterminism as well, the concept of timeline-based games has been recently introduced. It has been proved that finding whether a winning strategy exists for such games is 2EXPTIME-complete. However, a concrete approach to synthesize controllers implementing such strategies is missing. This paper fills this gap, by providing an effective and computationally optimal approach to controller synthesis for timeline-based games.

Timelines are newish inventions. According to the dictionary, a timeline is "a collection of online posts or updates associated with a specific social media account." And that is what we will build in this chapter. See Figure 6-1.
