Abstract:
In this paper we investigate a new problem of identifying the perspective from which a document is written. By perspective we mean a point of view, for example, from the perspective of Democrats or Republicans. Can computers learn to identify the perspective of a document? Not every sentence is written strongly from a perspective. Can computers learn to identify which sentences strongly convey a particular perspective? We develop statistical models to capture how perspectives are expressed at the document and sentence levels, and evaluate the proposed models on articles about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The results show that the proposed models successfully learn how perspectives are reflected in word usage and can identify the perspective of a document with high accuracy.In the paper, three methods of seeking for the perspective three point shapes when Desargue′s Theorem is applied has been given: discover the corresponding apex directly according to the question condition or the conclusion; adjust correspondence apex; structure perspective three point shapes.

Drawing is a powerful tool for industrial designers when presenting the potential of an idea to convince viewers. Thus, they should have an increased understanding of perspective drawing techniques. These techniques may still cause miscommunication between designers and viewers even though they are applied correctly. The present study examines whether the perspective drawing techniques in terms of eye-level positions and view-angle choices, influence the viewers’ ability to identify the drawn-objects accurately. Results reveal that the identification accuracy in one-point and two-point perspective techniques is found dissimilar between different eye-level positions. Drawings generated at 20° to 50° of view-angles with one-point, and 10° to 20° of view-angles with two-point perspective, are perceived more accurately compared to other view-angles. Results partially conflict with the guidelines suggested by the literature. Findings of the study are relevant for designer practitioners, researchers, educators, and students when creating design drawings carrying high communication value.

The construction of a checkerboard pavement in perspective described by Alberti in De pictura depends explicitly on the choice of a base line, the divisions along it, a centric point, and a viewing distance. These choices do not in themselves determine the result of the construction. The exact placement of the horizontal parallels depends on precisely how one interprets Alberti's instructions. In particular, Grayson's and Parronchi's interpretations are, in principle, distinguishable from one another by the results to which they lead.

A practical method of creating perspective drawing in AutoCAD is introduced.In the view of architectural graphical methods,the satisfactory three point,two point and one point perspective drawing can be obtained by the analysis of the interrelation between principles of creating perspective drawing in AutoCAD and architectural graphical methods to determine suitable direction and location of main view line.

Some graphics literature gives the definition of two point and three point perspective view, and generates these views by means of rotation and translation. These concepts are misleading. The real situation is, they are two vanishing points and three vanishing points view under one point perspective transformation. This paper gives the explanation.

Through analyzing the perspective model of arbitrary point in space,two practical and fast methods of drawing two-point perspective are concluded.The two methods completely overcome the shortcomings of traditional methods which must cling to two vanishing point,standing point or measuring point,and larger perspective can be made on a small drawing board.It is of great practicability.
