Contemporary education has been greatly influenced by the advancements of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).The provided ICT solutions enhance learning environments and offer teachers numerous opportunities.However, although ICT can enhance education quality, there are several factors that impact on the ICT adaptation into the educational process.This study explores the degree of ICT use in the teaching process.The purpose of this research paper is to investigate whether teachers' age and their years of service influence their perceptions of educational technology in Greek public schools.Three hundred and thirty-three teachers, who work in public schools of Western Macedonia, participated in the study.Results are expected to provide tangible insights to help both education community and academia.

The importance of ICT in empowering teachers and learners, and enhancing teaching and students' achievement has been highlighted in several studies. Similarly, the digital divide between the developed and developing nations had been of a serious concern to educators. The paucity of studies on ICT integration in the developing nations needs to be addressed so as to ensure total integration of ICT in the school curriculum. This study examined empirically student-teachers' competence and attitude towards information and communication technology. Gender influence on their competence and attitude were also examined. Participants were 382 student-teachers (181 males and 201 females) from the Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. The data collected through a questionnaire were analysed using percentages, means, and chi-square statistics. Findings revealed that majority of the student-teachers have positive attitude towards the use of ICT and they are competent in the use of few basic ICT tools. Overall, no significant difference was established between male and female student-teachers' attitudes and use of ICT. The implication is that the student-teachers lacked the necessary competence in the full integration of ICT in the curriculum. This underscores the need to improve the ICT contents of teacher education programs in universities in developing nations.

The present study investigates the impacts of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on higher education and also to identify impediments that resulted in slow motion penetration of ICTs at the university level in the Gujarat state. The methodology employed for this paper follows a mixed method by using the primary source of data. The structured questionnaires were administered to the students pursuing postgraduation from the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) (N = 8056, n = 309) in various disciplines by considering factors such as ICT infrastructure, digital communication, and student satisfaction on ICT usage and ICT usage by faculty. IBMSPSS.25 is used for data analysis as a statistical tool. The results explore the need for strong ICT infrastructure in rural colleges of HNGU and student-centric policy on ICT usage in the university.

Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the level of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) literacy in the ability of elementary school teachers in integrating ICT in learning and knowing the factors that influence ICT literacy of teachers reviewed by age, gender and educational background. The method used is a quantitative descriptive approach with a longitudinal trend survey method, with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that the level of ICT literacy of elementary school teachers which refers to the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia is at the level one of the six levels available. This means that an individual has had one or two experiences, where information is an important component for achieving desire and solving problems, and has involved information technology to look for it. Then based on inferential analysis the factors that influence the level of ICT literacy of elementary school teachers show that age and gender factors significantly influence the ICT literacy of teachers. While the education level factor does not have a significant influence on the level of ICT literacy of teachers. The results of this study can be a reference for improving the ability of elementary school teachers in ICT literacy.
