    Aiming at the problem of the existence of different communication mode in hybrid multi-hop and cellular network, an adaptive routing protocol based on OLSR (ACMR) is proposed in this paper. The protocol uses zone-routing technique, and maintenances the zone-routing information based on OLSR protocol. It can realize the smart choice of communication mode, agile switch and communicating with node outside by the additive control message. Simulations show the protocol can decrease the influence made by the density and mobility of node. It can improve the data packet delivery rate and average delay with small cost of routing overhead, therefore, the protocol increases the system performance and its applicability.

    In the Wireless Sensor Network, the routing protocol is a major issue. In this paper we discuss the contents of three routing protocol of WSN i.e. Location-based routing protocol, Data-centric routing protocol and lastly Hierarchical routing protocol in short and later we will compare these protocols based on some parameters.

    The paper summarized the routing protocol of wireless sensor network, and then compared the opportunistic routing protocol with traditional routing protocol. The paper proposed an improved method for transmitting candidacy set and collaboration process in the opportunistic routing protocol.

    This paper introduces the OLSR routing protocol,IPv4 and IPv6 address protocol's characteristics and internal mechanism.Through simulation, we will see the performance of OLSR routing protocol based on IPv4 and IPv6 address protocol.Experiments show that less HELLO message and TC message will need and smaller jitter will get while using the OLSR routing protocol based on IPv6.But bigger delay and smaller throughput will appear compared with OLSR routing protocol based on IPv4 address protocol.

    In this paper we propose a location aided directed routing protocol for mobile wireless ad-hoc networks. The proposed protocol is an on demand reactive strategy that relies on location information of nodes. The protocol uses simple caches and certain routing packets to maintain nodes' location information. Simulation results illustrate the performance of the proposed protocol.

    In this work, we propose a new routing protocol-the small-world routing protocol. With the idea originating from the small-world theory, the proposed protocol finds paths between the queries and events through recurrent propagations of weak and strong links. The operation of the protocol is simple and does not require much computational power. We evaluate the performance of the proposed protocol through extensive simulations. The results indicate that the proposed protocol, when compared to rumor routing protocol, can find much shorter paths (and thus lower power consumption during data delivery) with much higher successful rate.

    In this paper we study the channel occupation induced by the OLSR proactive routing protocol used in a linear Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET). Unlike previous studies which usually use simulations to evaluate the overhead of routing protocols, we derive a simple analytical model to carry out this evaluation. Moreover, we do not evaluate the total overhead induced by the routing protocol as is usually proposed, but for a given node we compute the channel occupation induced by the routing protocol. This paper provides a quantitative approach to evaluating the cost of a proactive routing protocol in a linear vehicular ad hoc network as a function of several parameters such as the frequency of the control messages, the density of the vehicles, the propagation range of the control messages and the carrier sense area.
