    The fluctuations of soil enzyme activity under different dimehypo concentrations were studied in simulated conditions.The results showed that dimehypo could remarkably inhibit the activity of soil urease,polyphenol oxidase and peroxidase in Lou soil and Red soil sampled in North and South China,respectively,enzyme activity has largely inhibited at low dimehypo concentration,less inhibited at high dimehypo concentration.ED50,the ecological dimehypo dose at 50% reduction of soil enzyme activity,was calculated to express the sensitivity of soil enzyme to dimehypo.ED 50 of dimehypo for urease in Lou soil and Red soil were 1.301 and 0.526 g/kg respectively.It can be known according to ED 50 that soil urease is the most sensitive to dimehypo among all tested soil enzyme.It is very interesting that soil invertase is activated and its activity is enhanced at low concentration of dimehypo,and then is inhibited at high concentrations.

    The paper studied soil enzyme characteristics of main shelter forest types in the rocky coastal area of the subtropical zone. The results were as follows: Among three kinds of phosphatase, acid phosphatase activity was more than neutral and alkaline phosphatase activity. They had a close relationship with the total phosphatase activity. But the relationship coefficient of alkaline phosphatase was the highest, neutral phosphatase the second, and acid phosphatase the third. From top to bottom of soil profile, the enzyme activity reduced gradually. Soil enzyme activity in different forest types had a significant difference. Soil enzyme activity increased with forest age increasing. Because of artificial disturbance, soil enzyme activity of no timber forest lands was at the middle or low level, which needed reasonable and scientific management.

    The enzyme activity in soil, the distribution characteristics of nutrient and the relationship of above were studied. The results showed that nutrient content and enzyme activity is the most in the surface layer of the soil, and decreases gradually with depth deeper. Nutrient content and enzyme activity is different because of different hill site, and low site is more than high site. Soil enzyme activity relates closely with organic matter, N and P. The relativity among different soil enzyme activity is marked. Therefore, the soil enzyme activity can be used as one of the indexes valuing soil fertility in Illicium verum forest.

    Soil enzyme activity of Gong-Chuan root-area and the relations between the enzyme activity and the agrochemical properties in soils with different fertility were studied. The results indicate that the soil enzyme activity in high-yield orchard is notably higher than that of in low-yield orchard, and the soil enzyme activity is remarkably correlated with the nutrient content. It is also shown that the distributions of soil enzyme activity in soils have some regularity. The enzyme activity is highest in its level distribution area from the location of 4/5 radius of tree crown to that of the maximal radius, and in area inward or outwad from the above area the enzyme activity decreases gradually. The enzyme activity in its vertical distribution of soil of 0~20 cm depth is highest, and with the depth increasing, the enzyme activity decreases gradually.

    Effects of scientific fertilization on yield and quality of persimmon and soil enzyme activity of rootregion were studied.The results indicate that scientific fertilization can significantly increase yield of persimmon,improve quality of fruits,raise soil nutrient content,and enhance soil enzyme activity.The soil enzyme activity of rootregion is various at different growth stages of persimmon,and dynamic variation of soil enzyme activity is:fruits expanding stagemature stageharvest stageflowers withering stagebudding stage.The soil enzyme activity is not inhibited by fertilization at all growth stages,showing that fertilization has not reached level at which soil enzyme activity reaches the maximum critical limits.Soil enzyme activity is remarkedly correlated with yield of persimmon,the first and second grade rate of fruits,and soil nutrient content.The soil enzyme activities are also remarkedly correlated with each other.

    Enzyme activities distributions of different treatments in the soil profile in which alfalfa and winter wheat were planted continuously and the fluctuations of enzyme activities of different fertilizers treatments were studied. The results showed that the enzyme activities reduced from the soil surface to the deep soil layers, but the enzyme activities distributions of different treatments were not significantly different. When the winter wheat was growing, the catalase activities of different treatments were increasing and the fluctuations of alkaline phosphatase and available P were correlated tach other.

    The effects of continuous cropping of rice on soil enzyme activity were explored, taking Urumqi M eastern rice as the object of study.The results showed that, with increasing years of continuous cropping, catalade activity first decreased and then rised; urease activity was in an upward trend, but rising no-significantly; the invertase activity showed first decreased and then increased trend.

    A climatecontrol chamber was used for studying the effect of chlorimuronethyl on three soil enzyme activity in soybeen rhizosphere. The results showed that soil urase activity was noticeably inhabited in minimum dosage 95 ga.i./hm2 and then with time prolong the inhabited urase activity gradually relieved. The phosphatase activity was activated all the time under the low chlorimuronethyl dosage 95 ga.i./hm2 condition, the results of phosphatase activity in the 7th and 14th day was at markedly level compared with contrast. But with the dosage of chlorimuronethyl increasing, the phosphatase activity decreased and under condition of the high chlorimuronethyl dosage 135ga.i./hm2, the inhabited phosphatase activity was at markedly level compared with contrast until 35 days. With the chlorimuronethyl dosage increasing, the cellulase activity elevated and was markedly higher than the contrast within 28 days after chlorimuronethyl was used.

    The effect of atrazine on neutral phosphatase in paddy soil was investigated by the indoor incubator culture methods.The activity of soil phosphatase enzyme showed an inhibition-activation-inhibition rule during the experiment.The three equations had significant or obvious significant correlation between soil enzyme activity and atrazine concentration.Ecological dose ED10 of the soil phosphatase enzyme,were 19.51 mg·kg-1.
