Lamination of green ceramic tapes is one of the most important technological processes in the manufacturing of multilayer ceramic devices and it has determined influence on the quality of the devices. Therefore, choosing proper lamination technique is very important to a designed structure. The development of lamination techniques of green ceramic tapes is of great significance for the electronic communication industry and it has become a hot spot in the research. In this paper, the main lamination techniques in the present research and practice are overviewed. As to the development prospect and direction of the lamination of green ceramic tapes, the own opinions are given on the basis of lamination study in recent years.

Influences of running speed of coating machine,oven temperature and gluing quantity on properties of PVC lamination films were studied.The influences of temperature during the lamination of PVC lamination film with PVC white card substrate on product properties were also investigated.The results show that the optimum processing conditions for PVC lamination films are running speed of 25 m/min,oven temperature of 55 ℃ and adhesive spread of 4.5 g/m2,and the optimum lamination processing conditions for PVC lamination films are lamination temperature of 120 ℃ while lamination pressure of 10 MPa and lamination time of 30 min.

This article is based upon a typical multilayer press experiment of an inline PCB production,which is with thick copper inner board and high resin content lamination structure.It particular introduced the influence of different lamination equipment,lamination process and different lamination structure for this special structure.And finally base on the analysis of actual experiment,it raised some proposal which is more suitable for the lamination of the special structure,provided good guidance significance to improve the problem such as pressing drape,bad uniformity of board thickness,and etc.

The article introduces the reason why lamination crazing are produced during the process of making rigid-flex print board with the use of no-flow prepreg. Through the lamination experiments on different conditions (different press pad material, different copper patterning, different lamination pressure, different amount of pieces of prepreg),it is found that the lamination of no-flow prepreg is very different from normal prepreg, such as lamination accessorial material, lamination pressure, and lamination model. Finally, from previous analysis of experiment data, a lamination model was brought forward.

Lamination is an important step in the production of three-dimensional structures using green ceramic tapes. A lot of research was devoted to the refinement of the lamination process; a certain number of lamination methods are known from the literature. The present work deals with the evaluation of the method in which elastomer bags are used to carry out the isostatic thermo-compression lamination of green tapes to build 3D structures. With the help of the example of a hot-film flow sensor a technically unsophisticated way to laminate a green tape onto the inner surface of a metal cylinder is demonstrated. Furthermore, test results for lamination of LTCC substrates with cavities of large aspect ratio are presented.

We introduce and define framed measured lamination in a 3-manifold $M$. These generalize oriented framed links in 3-manifolds, and are confined to 2-dimensional improperly embedded subsurfaces of the 3-manifold. Just as some framed links bound surfaces, so also some framed lamination links bound 2-dimensional measured and oriented Seifert laminations. We show that any lamination link which bounds a 2-dimensional lamination, bounds a taut lamination, i.e. one of maximum Euler characteristic, subject to the condition that the lamination is carried by an aspherical branched surface. This maximum Euler characteristic function is continuous on certain parametrized families of lamination links carried by a train track neighborhood. Taut laminations generalize minimal genus surfaces.

We demonstrate low-loss single-mode polymer waveguides compatible with the PCB lamination process. In the experiment, fabricated waveguides have an average transmission loss of 0.3 dB/cm at 1310 nm and survived a regular PCB lamination process.

Lamination of ceramic green tapes is one of the most important technological processes in the multilayer ceramic technology.The lamination process directly affects the quality of all 3D structures(e.g.channels,chambers,and membranes).In this paper,the lamination methods of multilayer ceramic devices as thermo-compress lamination and its improvement technology,glue or adhesive based lamination,solvent based lamination are reviewed.The characteristics,research situation and application of the lamination methods are also introduced.
