A great of loss in agriculture and forestry was caused by plant diseases all over the world every year, and there is no satisfactory traditional method to protect the diseases.Considerable progress in molecular biology of plant disease resistant genes has been made in recent years especially in the study on cloning of desease resistant genes by means of functional cloning, positional cloning, sequence cloning and phenotype cloning. Moreover, there are lots of achievements made in the researches of gene engineering for plant disease resistance in the past few years. In this paper, the characteristics, mechanism and prospects of the strategies on the cloning of disease resistant genes were reviewed, and rapid progress has been made in the study of disease resistance in the forest trees.Meanwhile the problems existed were discussed and the strategies for the possible solution were also pointed out in this paper.

Limiting-dilution cloning of human lymphocytes was used to study cloning and proliferation of lymphocytes in 10 young and 10 elderly individuals. The cloning efficiency for elderly individuals, 3.5%, was significantly lower than that for young individuals, 19.8%. Mixing experiments showed that this decrease was due to both a decrease in the frequency of the clone-forming cells and a decrease in the interacting ability of the lymphocytes. Lymphocytes from elderly individuals which did form clones, however, proliferated at the same rate as did those from young individuals.

Over two dozen different terms for identification appear in the econometrics literature, including set identification, causal identification, local identification, generic identification, weak identification, identification at infinity, and many more. This survey: (i) gives a new framework unifying existing definitions of point identification; (ii) summarizes and compares the zooful of different terms associated with identification that appear in the literature; and (iii) discusses concepts closely related to identification, such as normalizations and the differences in identification between structural models and causal, reduced form models. The South Korean researchers used an egg cell and a cumulus cell from the same woman to replace the chromosomes removed from each egg. The eggs then grew in the lab dish until they became blastocysts, which are balls of about 100 cells. This kind of clone is called homoeologous cloning. There is no aberrant expression of genes or losing. Homoeologous cloning is belong to therapeutic cloning which is for create human embryo stem cell line. They treated these cells to multiply and produce many cell types we needed. Then the cells can use for treatment. However, the purposes of reproductive-cloning is how to clone a person.

Cloning by nuclear transfer using mammalian somatic cells has enormous potential application. However, somatic cloning has been inefficient in all species in which live clones have been produced. High abortion and fetal mortality rates are commonly observed. These developmental defects have been attributed to incomplete reprogramming of the somatic nuclei by the cloning process. Various strategies have been used to improve the efficiency of nuclear transfer, however, significant breakthroughs are yet to happen. This paper include studies conducted and to gain a better understanding of nuclear reprogramming. Because cattle are a species widely used for nuclear transfer studies, and more laboratories have succeeded in cloning cattle than any other specie.
