Abstract:
This paper will outline the simulation of a photovoltaic emulator. A photovoltaic emulator is a DC-DC converter which has similar electrical characteristics to a photovoltaic panel. A photovoltaic emulator allows PV systems to be analyzed in a controlled environment where using actual photovoltaic panels would produce inconsistent results for the PV system, due to variability in outside temperature and weather conditions.Keywords:

In order to supply double power for the remote wireless control of high voltage switch system,the solar energy photovoltaic power system is used.According to the electrical load conditions of this system and the basic theory of solar energy photovoltaic power generation,the solar energy photovoltaic power generation system which is suitable for the electrified railway catenary's isolating switch control system is designed and developed,and it creates conditions for automation reconstruction of isolating switch.

Solar photovoltaic power station connects to the public power network to provide electric power.Interconnection of solar photovoltaic power station is the result of large-scale commercialized generation and solar photovoltaic generation.In this paper,the composition,kinds and generation characteristics of solar photovoltaic power station are introduced.Moreover,manner of interconnection solar photovoltaic power station and its influence on power grid are presented.At last,measures for its safe operation are proposed.

Through the photovoltaic effect, photovoltaic cells convert solar energy into electrical energy. Photovoltaic cells are connected in series to reach the desired voltage (around 700-1000V DC), then parallel in order to obtain a higher current (8-16 A). The photovoltaic cells must be used at their maximum power point. The I - U curve of a photovoltaic panel is non-linear, and environmental factors such as temperature or solar irradiation bring considerable variations to the characteristic and location of the maximum power point. This paper presents a method based on the mathematical model of a diode for tracking the maximum power point of a photovoltaic panel or a photovoltaic field under different meteorological conditions using only the data provided by the manufacturers. The model has been validated with experimental data of a commercial photovoltaic module, CHSM6610P Astroenergy.

The works realized in this article concern the simulation in Pspice and the experimentation operation of the photovoltaic (PV) panels and systems. We have analyzed the optimal operation of PV panels as a function of the weather conditions (solar irradiation, temperatures…), and design of a PV system provided with MPPT control ensuring instantaneously the optimal operation of PV panels. The various results obtained show that the optimal electrical properties (voltage, current and power) of PV panels depend on the solar irradiation and the panels association (parallels or series). To do various evaluations concerning the PV system, we constructed the large-scale photovoltaic (PV) system of about 2MW. The 600kW of about 2MW system was completed and it has been operated since April, 2008. The 600kW system is composed of many kinds of PV modules. In this paper, we report on the output performance of the 600kW-PV system, of various PV modules, and of single-axis tracking system.

Photovoltaic systems contains photovoltaic panels that are made up of photovoltaic cells, the inverter, electrical connections, and the mechanical support of photovoltaic panels. The role of the inverter is to obtain alternating current for charging from the direct current obtained from solar energy. Grid-connected photovoltaic panels can be on-grid, off-grid or hybrid. Both the material used and the costs of materials play an important role in optimizing the efficiency of photovoltaic panels. To increase efficiency, photovoltaic panels must be installed so as to maximize direct exposure to sunlight. The efficiency, reliability and durability of photovoltaic panels can be reduced by the presence of certain defects of photovoltaic modules or dust accumulation. An important role in optimization is also played by the methods for determining the power point, which must be at the maximum level in order to optimize the energy transfer from the photovoltaic panel to the load. Optimizing energy consumption and reducing costs is also achieved by implementing a SCADA automation system, as well as by minimizing the power fluctuation of on-grid photovoltaic panels using a super capacitor energy storage system. This paper also presents different types of inverters adapted to maximize the production of photovoltaic energy. In the analyzed literature, the main directions of research in the sense of optimizing photovoltaic panels focus on an improvement design, optimal operation and proper maintenance.

This paper deals with program, construction andto design solar tracking system with reflecting mirrorusing a stepper motor and microcontroller named Arduinosystem to increase the efficiency of solar photovoltaic(PV) panel. The efficiency of 12.86% and 10.14% arerecorded for panel with and without mirror respectively.The application of mirror is an efficient and an effectiveway to enhance the performance of solar photovoltaic cellwith the same panel area.
