    Abstract:
    Under the water stress, the physiological metabolism process changed a lot. In this paper, some physiological traits were analyzed, which has been closely related to rice yield. Some rice backcross lines with drought resistance were discussed, and the effect of water stress after anthesis on rice yield was studied under the artificial control condition. The result indicated the content of malondiadehyde (MDA) of rice flag leaf increased obviously, the activity of superoxide dismatase (SOD) of rice flag leaf activity weakened; the various traits of the rice variety with strong drought resistance reduced slightly compared to control and with high yield, while of the rice variety with weak drought resistance reduced significantly compared to control and with low yield.

    Plant height is a crucial agronomic trait for grain yield in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.).To detect changes of drought resistance in wheat development, drought stress coefficient (DS|WW) was calculated in five environments (year × experimental site) based on plant heights of 150 doubled haploid (DH) lines derived from Hanxuan 10 × Lumai 14 at five measuring stages using conditional analysis method.The plant heights were measured every 7 d from jointing to flowering (S1-S5) in both rain-fed (drought stress, DS) and well-watered (WW) conditions in five environments including Fenyang, Shanxi in 2001 (F01), Haidian, Beijing in 2005 (H05) and 2006 (H06), Changping, Beijing in 2005 (Ch05) and 2006 (Ch06).DS|WW is the specific responding of plant height to DS condition relative to WW condition.Unconditional drought stress coefficient (UDS|UWW) represents drought resistance before time t, and conditional drought stress coefficient (CDS|CWW) represents drought resistance within the period from time (t-1) to t.In all five environments, the plant heights were significantly lower under DS than under WW at all five stages (P<0.005).The largest plant height difference between DS and WW appeared in F01.The differences among environments for both UDS|UWW and CDS|CWW at each developmental stage were significant at P<0.0001.However, the result from multiple comparison analysis showed that part differences between environments in the same experimental site or year after S2were insignificant, such as UDS3|UWW3 between H06 and Ch06, UDS5|UWW5 between H05 and H06.The significant positive correlations were detected for UDS|UWW between stages except five of ten correlation coefficients in Ch05.Poor correlations were observed for CDS|CWW between stages, however, the correlations between the adjacent stages appeared closer.In all environments, the significant positive correlations were always detected between UDS|UWW at time t and CDS|CWW before time t in one or more periods, indicating that the drought resistance at time t might partially attribute to that before time t.Path analysis suggested that drought resistance before jointing stage (CDS1|CWW1) and from heading to flowering (CDS5|CWW5) might play 第 11 期 武仙山等: 用株高旱胁迫系数分析小麦发育中的抗旱性动态 2011 important roles for plant height at maturity, so, an ample supply of water at these periods are helpful for gaining higher yield.

    A study on the physiological-biochemical changes of different ramie(Boehmeria Jacq. ) varieties under drought stress was carried out, the results showed that relative water contents(RWC) decreased and RPP increased with the increase of drought stress. Compared with drought sensitive varieties, drought resistant varieties had higher RWC in leaves but lower RPP. Peroxidase activity of drought-resistance varieties changed from low to high whereas sensitive ones changed in opposite direction. Proline contents of drought sensitive varieties was higher than those of drought resistant ones under a certain degree drought stress. Proline accumulation in drought resistant varieties was faster than that in drought sensitive ones under serious drought stress.MDA contents in leaf was increased under drought stress. MDA contents increased slowly in resistant varieties while that increased rapidly in sensitive ones.

    The drought-resistance of Cymbidium lowianum of various media was studied under the conditions of artificial drought stress through measuring morphological indexes and physiological indexes related to drought resistance,and then valued integratively with subordinate function.The results showed that the relative elective conductivity would increase when soil relative water content descended.Malondialdehyde content,proline content and antioxidant activities would increase firstly and then descend in the same condition.By subordinate function analysis,M6 and M5 had higher drought resistance,the resistance of M1 and M4 was the lowest.

    The plant water and drought-resistant physiological mehcanism were analyzed.The drought-resistant adaptation approach of plant and the relationship between its growth and development stages and drought-resistant ability were summarized and the importance of enhancing whole plant drought resistance of under drought stress was pointed out.

    Under the condition of certain water stress.17 wheat varieties were compared with different drought resistance and its content of SOD,CAT,Pro,soluble protein and soluble sugar of flag leaf after anthesis,then we analyzed the feasibility of identify index.The results indicated that three kinds of wheat have the same of trend in the above biochemical characters,the wheat varieties with stronger drought resistance was super to other kinds of wheat,three kinds of types wheat varieties have difference in anti-oxidized protection enzyme as well as seepage adjustment matters.Content of SOD at 7 days after anthesis,content of CAT and Pro after anthesis,content of soluble protein and sugar at 14 days after anthesis could do the identify index of drought resistance.

    The changes in protein components and the relationships between these changes and the drought resistance of maize under water stress were studied.The results showed that the soluble protein contents decreased with further water stress and the new kinds of proteins were induced.The drought-induced proteins in the drought-sensitive maize were produced,earlier than that in the drought-resistant maize.

    The objective is to investigate drought-resistant differences of maize varieties at different growth stages. Eighteen maize varieties were used as materials. Four treatments were set including drought stress at three key growing stages, jointing stage (T1), booting stage (T2), silking stage (T3) and the normal irrigating treatments (CK). The drought resistance was identified and evaluated. The results showed that the ASI of the tested varieties extended 1-6 d in various degrees compared with the control. The ASI of nine varieties prolonged slightly, such as'Jingnongke728'and'Jingke968';that of'Zhongdan28'and'Xundan20'were relatively long. After the drought stress, the yield of'Jingke968'and'Jingnongke728'were relatively high; that of'Xianyu335'and'Zhengdan958'were medium; and that of'Xundan20'and'Zhongdan28'were relatively low. It is concluded that the yield level and drought resistance of'Jingke968'and'Jingnongke728' are the highest; those of'Zhengdan958'and'Xianyu335'were medium;'Liaodan565'and'Jiyuan1'had poor drought resistance and yield.'Zhongdan28'was the worst productive and drought sensitive variety.

    [Objective] To study the drought resistance of 777(a kind of rice with OsCAS gene overexpression),we compared the physiological and biochemical indices of drought-resistance between the WT(a kind of wild rice,Nipponbare rice) and 777.[Method] Two different drought resistant varieties were treated by 10% and 15%PEG.Their CAT,SOD and POD activity and Pro and MDA contents were measured.[Result] The results indicated that under 10% PEG treatment,the CAT,SOD and POD activity were increased in both WT and 777.Under 15% PEG treatment,the CAT,SOD and POD activity decreased in WT but maintained relatively higher level in 777.In the two different varieties,the MDA and Pro content augmented with PEG concentration increasing.There were more Pro and MDA in WT than 777 under the same drought stress.[Conclusion] In tillering stage,the 777 has a stronger ability to resistant the drought stress than the WT,especially under serious drought stress(15%PEG).

    In the drought stress and water recovery condition changes of relative plasmolemma permeability,malondialdehyde(MDA) and leaf relative water content(LRWC) were used to estimate synthetic drought-resistance of three sugarcane cultivars. Results showed that the drought resistance of Yunzhe05-596 was the best and the second was Yunzhe05-704 with both their integrated indexes for drought resistance were better than that of ROC22.
