Autocorrelation pitch period detection is a key technique in voice signal process.Efficiency of the algorithm is also important except for the quality of the signal process.Pitch period of the dull sound is obtained through the short-time autocorrelation function,and polarity correlation and peak value estimation are used to raise the efficiency in the process of the autocorrelation.

In this study a new mathematical expression to describe the observed meandering autocorrelation functions in low-wind speed is proposed. The analysis utilizes a large number of best fit curves to show that the proposed theoretical function well reproduces the general form and the negative lobes characterizing the experimental meandering autocorrelation function. Further, the good agreement of the measured autocorrelation curves with the proposed algebraic autocorrelation function allows to calculate the magnitudes of the meandering period and of the loop parameter. The results agree with the values presented and discussed in the literature. Therefore, the new formulation describing experimental meandering autocorrelation functions can be used to simulate the dispersion of contaminant during low wind episodes and to determine relevant meandering parameters.

Sang Tong as the famous composer,specialist in harmony and,and music educationalist,plays an important role in the development of new music composing of our country.In his early compositions he used more traditional chord,and tried to take the place of traditional third superposing chord by using the chord which consist of semi tone and tri-tone or perfect fourth piled up with tri-tone,and pushed on the development of Chinese new music.

Two experiments examined the tonal implications of three different chord constructions. All chords were derived from the major triad in root position. Triadic chords contained all three notes of the triad; dyadic chords eliminated either the third of the fifth of the triad. In experiment I a triadic chord or dyadic chord was paired with a shepard tone. In experiment II a triadic chord was paired with either another triadic chord or a dyadic chord. In both experiments the second member of the pair was located at one of 12 randomly selected transpositions and listeners rated how well the second member of each pair followed the first. Results of the rating profiles bear on earlier work suggesting that different chord constructions emphasize different aspects of musical key relationships, information that may influence perceived tonal movement.

This paper presents the easy way to compose musical composition for non-musicians. Firstly, we developed a chord-based music composition program, and then incorporated it into the auto-accompaniment program. Namely, the only way we have to do is to select a chord and put it to special program which called "the chord-based music composition program" and then the composition program creates the rest of the chords automatically. Consequently, non-musicians overwrite their own melodies in accordance with created chords. Finally, they can perform their own music with the sound of master-keyboard and other sound sources by using the auto-accompaniment program. In a recent communication, Balza, Fromageot and Maniere described how to generate 4-level maximum-length sequences, and listed several of the properties of these sequences. Some of the expressions for the autocorrelation function are incorrect, and it is the purpose of this letter to give the correct formulas, and to show how to reduce the off-peak autocorrelation by choosing different analogue levels to correspond with the levels of the sequence.

This research has been carried out to find an intelligent system to generate chords for melodies which has been composed without considering chords initially. In western music, melodies are composed alongside with chords which specifies the rules for composing. Even though, the concept of chord is not practised in Hindustan music, modern musicians are now adapting the chords and use western instruments for great listening experience. The chord generation is considered as the expert knowledge, which is usually carried out by a musician with a trained ear. People who play chord playing instruments, must find appropriate chords when they are asked to play eastern notations. This process of finding the most suitable chord is always carried out by their knowledge which does not have any specific method. Therefore, beginners with less experience are facing difficulties when deciding a chord. In this research, an expert system has been proposed, to generate chords based on music knowledge.

Abstract Find out the force of the structure wooden framework is one indication in determining the dimensions of compression chord, tension chord, diagonal chord, and vertical chord. The value of each chord force is the main requirement in the planning dimension and joints connections in the structure planning of the wooden framework. Analysis/calculation of each of the chord forces in the wooden framework (tension chord, compression chord, vertical chord, and diagonal chord) using a method of joint and Structural Analysis Program (SAP-2000). Wooden framework span is 7 m, (α) = 30°, and the number of compression chord is 6. Results of the two methods will show the value of each of the chord force structures, the value of the chord force compared to see the accuracy of the structural analysis program. Analysis and calculation found the ratio of maximum and minimum value for each chord force using a method of joint and structural analysis program are 0.15 and 0. Based on research results, a Structural Analysis Program (SAP-2000) can be used to design and analyze a wooden framework, to simplify and save time in planning the structure of the wooden framework.

This paper presents a fundamental frequency estimation algorithm of noisy speech signal using the combination of windowless and normalized autocorrelation functions. Instead of the input speech signal, we employ its windowless autocorrelation function for obtaining the normalized autocorrelation function. The windowless autocorrelation function is a noise-reduced version of the input speech signal where the periodicity is more apparent with enhanced pitch peak. Experimental results on male and female voices in white noise indicate that the proposed method sufficiently outperforms existing methods in terms of gross pitch error.
