    Abstract:
    Abstract During recent years, Lima has increasingly had to depend upon the resources of the alluvial aquifer above which it is situated. This paper describes the computer modelling and other studies which were carried out to assess the sustainable yield of the aquifer.

    The total amount of annual average water resources of rivers in the northwest region is 127.574 billion m3,among which,surface water resources 117.394 billion m3 and unrepeatable groundwater resources 10.180 billion m3.The total water resources of rivers in the northwest region is not short,but grievous imbalance of water-soil and uneven distribution of water resources exists.The regional issue of water shortage occurs in the northwest,even quite terribly in partly regions,which impacted directly to the regional socio-economic sustainable development.

    Based on statistical analysis of hydrologic data about 50 from 10 gauges,it was concluded that for ShangLuo Prefecture,the quantity of surface water resources is 501×109 m3,and the quantity of groundwater resources is 19.6×109 m3.The conclusion may provides some reference for water resources development and utilization.

    In order to manage the water resources well, regional water resources management decision system, based upon surface water, groundwater and atmosphere water information data base and focused on numerical simulation models, is set up by use of numerical model and computer technique, according to idea of decision-making variable deduction. It can afford a series of dynamic and scientific decision for the reasonable development of regional water resources in Handan area.

    By analysis on the status of water resources in Handan, Hebei Province, a sustainable quantity model for regional water resources of Handan is established. In the modeling, the idea of decision making variable deduction is adopted to deal with the relationship between surface water,groundwater and meteoric water for a sustainable utilization of water resources. Under such an idea, a rational utilization plan for the water resources in the region is optimized by the model.

    In the paper,surface water resources,groundwater resources,total water resources as well as supplied and demanded water resources in Shenyang are analyzed according to hydrological observation data in Shenyang for 58 years. It is confirmed that Shenyang is seriously lack of water resources,and major response and improvement measures are proposed.

    The exploitation and protection of water resources concerns about people livelihood and the social sustainable development.This article discussed the importance of water resources as natural resources and strategic economic resources in northern Qinling.The importance of water resources development,utilization, protection and the relationship between them in northern Qinling were analyzed.The result indicates: northern Qinling is a huge green reservoir for Guanzhong area,the key of protecting water resources is moderate exploitation under protection.Make use of both surface water and groundwater resources.Establish groundwater reservoirs and water resources compensation mechanism,and strengthen strategic studies of water resources.

    The surface water resources which with complex non-linear characteristics is affected by many factors.The use of scientific methods to analyze the amount of surface water resources is important for planning and management of water resources.In this paper,the gray relational grade method is adopted to analyze the relevant factors of surface water resources in Shanxi Province.The results show that the annual precipitation,groundwater resources,agricultural land which is irrigated with surface area is most closely related to water resources.There is an upward trend of surface water resources in Shanxi Province under the influence of a variety of factors in recent years.

    Water resources management model of Qingdao City is built according to local actual situation. Not only water resources but also other factors such as society, economy, environment and water resources projects etc. are considered in this model. The method of longterm dynamic simulation is used by which the correlation and transformation among surface water, groundwater and various available water resources, and the utilization of water resources among different areas and different water use divisions are jointly dispatched and simulated. The calculation results of different management plans are evaluated and sequenced. Their evaluated results provide scientific basis for the rational management and water resources planning in Qingdao City.
