A case of widespread papillomatosis of the gallbladder, accompanied with an area of carcinoma in the presence of calculosis is reported. The question whether papilloma of the gallbladder should be regarded as a precancerous lesion, and what rôle concomitant lesions play in the pathogenesis of papilloma and its degeneration, are briefly discussed. It is felt that calculosis represents a considerable risk factor in the malignant transformation of papilloma, and the surgical treatment of all polypoid affections of the gallbladder is advised.

Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus and occurs primarily in children and adolescence. Most commonly, disease remains localized to the larynx and spontaneously regresses, but in rare cases there may be pulmonary involvement. We present a case of a 17 year old female with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis who develops pulmonary involvement in the form of squamous papilloma. We present the clinical findings; discuss the potential for malignant transformation and the need for screening and prevention. To investigate the characteristics of breast papillomatosis, its malignant transformation and relation with main ductal papilloma.A histopathological study by en bloc breast subserial sections was performed on 14 cases of highly proliferative papillomatosis and 22 cases of carcinoma arising from the highly proliferative papillomatosis. The two types of lesions were widely scattered over the sections, covering more than two quadrants in 71.4% (10/14) and 63.3% (14/22) of the breast, respectively. Crisscross and histological transition of the two lesions were observed frequently in the sections of carcinoma arising from the highly proliferative papillomatosis. These two kinds of lesion often coexisted with main ductal papilloma.Papillomatosis is a breast precancerous lesion and it may have similar pathogenetic mechanism as main ductal papilloma.

Papillary lesions of breast represent a range of lesions. Intraductal papilloma and its association with nipple discharge are well known. However, multiple papillomatosis has quite distinct characteristics and decision making can be somewhat challenging. We report a case of multiple papillomatosis in association with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). Patient opted for ipsilateral mastectomy and prophylactic mastectomy of contralateral breast. Her decision of having prophylactic mastectomy was vindicated by presence of incidental DCIS in the contralateral breast. To our knowledge, this is the first reported case of multiple papillomatosis with DCIS of breast, along with incidental synchronous papillomatosis of contralateral breast with DCIS. The case illustrates few distinct features of multiple papillomatosis of breast and exemplifies how a patient's choice is so paramount in decision making process. Patients should be fully informed of the treatment options of the condition, and their wishes should be fully taken into account while making the final decision.

Objective To investigate the characteristics, diagnosis and treatment of the intraductal papillomatosis. Methods The clinical data of 65 patients who had been pathologically diagnosed as having intraductal papilloma or intraductal papillomatesis from November 2000 to September 2011 were analyzed retrospectively. Results Among the 65 patients,49(75.4%) had nipple discharge, including light bloody discharge in 32 patients(65.3%) and yellow discharge in 17(34.7%).Sixteen patients(24.6%) were diagnosed with masses of the nipple and areola area.Intraductal papilloma was found pathologically in 56 patients, intraductal papillomatosis in 5,and papillomatosis with malignant transformation in 4.Forty-nine patients with nipple discharge were detected by breast Duct endoscopy, with a detection rate was 85.7%.Conclusions Nipple dischange is the most common symptom in patients with intraductal papilloma.Breast Duct endoscopy is a valuable method for the diagnosis of intraductal papillomas.Carcinoma change may be possible in intraductal papillomatosis.

Introduction Laryngeal papillomatosis, also known as recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP), is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). The role of HPV in the pathogenesis of sinonasal inverted papilloma is not yet fully understood. A synchronous occurrence was first described by Oliver et al. in 2019.

Abstract Background Sinonasal exophytic papillomas are rare. The multifocal form, florid papillomatosis, has not been yet described in literature. We report on the clinical features and the management of the different forms of exophytic papilloma. Methods A retrospective study was conducted that included all patients with exophytic papilloma treated in our center over the past 12 years. We recorded clinical presentation, treatments, recurrences, pathology (p16 expression and human papillomavirus [HPV] status). Results We included 13 patients with a mean follow‐up of 5 years. The main location of exophytic papilloma was the anterior part of the septum. Lesions were multifocal in 3 patients corresponding to florid papillomatosis. The main treatment was surgery. Cases of HPV‐11 or HPV‐6 were present in all forms of exophytic papilloma (dysplasia in 4 cases). Late recurrences occurred in 3 patients (2 patients with florid papillomatosis) over a period of 3 years. Conclusion Exophytic papilloma has 2 clinical presentations: localized and diffuse. Patients with florid papillomatosis should be monitored closely as recurrence seems to be frequent.

The benign papillary neoplasms of the breast are still controversial topics in general surgery. There are two forms of the benign papillary lesions, solitary intraductal papilloma and multiple intraductal papilloma. These disorders are very rare and their clinical behaviour is different in each case. In this study, two cases of the multiple intraductal papilloma are presented and clinical findings and surgical therapy are discussed.

Abstract Bovine Papillomatosis (BP) is a cutaneous viral disease of cattle caused by Bovine Papilloma Virus (BPV).Out of 57 tumor samples, 12 were diagnosed as papillomas or warts (21.05%) of which ten were collected from cattle and two from buffaloes. The animals had either generalized or solitary cutaneous growths in different parts of the body. Grossly, the growths were solitary or multiple, pinkish to greyish-white in colour, 0.5 to 10 cm in diameter, sessile or pedunculated and hard in consistency. Histopathologically, squamous papilloma, viral papilloma (papillomatosis), fibropapilloma and angiokeratoticacanthomatous papilloma were noticed. Immuno histo chemically, PCNA expression in papilloma was observed predominantly in the cells of basal and parabasal layers of epidermis. The PCNA antibodies were very useful marker to detection of cellular proliferation in the bovine cutaneous papillomas.
