Objective:To evaluate the advantages of transradial artery coronary angiography.Method:Transradial artery coronary angiography was performed in 64 cases.Result:4 of 64 cases had radial artery angiography including 3 cases relieved with nitroglycerin injection and 1 case treated with transfemoral artery coronary angiography. Conclusion:Transradial artery coronary angiography should be recommended with less local complications and higher success rate.

Objective To explore the diagnostic value of dubious positive of exercise treadm ill test(TET) in patients with uncertain coronary artery disease(CAD),and coronary angiography is necessary to diagnosis of CAD.Methods A total of 104 dubious positive of TET in patients with uncertain CAD were did coronary angiography. Results Dubious positive of TET was 70.2%(73/104) in diagnosis of CAD.coronary angiography confirmed CAD were 25.0%,77.8% and 88.6% respectively in no or one dangerous factor, two dangerous factors and three dangerous factors or above,,compared was significantly difference respectively(P0.05).Conclusion Dubious positive of TET was higher, simple and convenient, economical, non invaseive method, and important value for diagnosis of CAD.If patients have two dangerous factors or above, coronary angiography is necessary for dubious positive of TET,and will decide treatment in future.

Coronary angiography is the necessary investigation in the diagnostic complex of patients with ischemic heart disease (IHD). The use of trans-radial access makes it possible to do the angiography without hospitalization. The algorithm of coronary angiography in day-time clinic was proposed. Non-hospital angiography in 15 patients was successful. It is the first time this method has been used in this country.

Objective To choose the conventional coronary angiography as the gold standard for diagnosing coronary artery disease(CAD),retrospectively compare the performance of coronary 320CT and exercise stress ECG in diagnosis of CAD.Methods According to diagnostic criteria for CAD,sensitivity and specificity of 320CT and exercise stress ECG in diagnosis of 80 cases CAD were analyzed. Results The sensitivity(90.9%) and specificity(83.3%) of 320CT were significantly higher than the sensitivity(72.7%) and specificity(30.6%) of exercise stress ECG(P 0.05);The studies had shown that the diagnosis rate of 320CT of CAD had significantly statistical difference than exercise stress ECG in suspected CAD low-risk patients(P 0.05).Conclusion 320CT is superior to exercise stress ECG in diagnosis of CAD for patients undergoing conventional coronary angiography.

The review covers possibilities of modern techniques of computer tomography (CT) of coronary arteries: electron beam tomography and 4-, 16-, 64-slice multi-spiral CT. Main studies conducted in this area are analyzed. Results of these studies (values of sensitivity and specificity, numbers of included patients, numbers of segments of coronary arteries which were excluded from analysis because of poor quality of images) are presented and compared. Problems of further development of CT of coronary arteries are also considered.

Objective: To evaluate the value of treadmill exercise testing (TET) for diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD). Methods: Coronary angiography (CAG) and TET were done for 262 patients. The interval between these two procedures is less than one month. CAG data were compared with that of TET. Results: The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy rate of TET for diagnosis of CAD was 60.42% (58/96), 69.88% (116/166), 66.41% (174/ 262), respectively. There was a significant difference between the CAG positive group and CAG negative group in the exercise time, maximum METs and blood pressure at exercise peak (P0. 05). There was also a significant difference between the multiple vessel disease group and the single vessel disease group (P0. 05) . The patients with multiple vessel disease had a higher positive rate of TET as compared with that of single vessel disease (P0. 05). Conclusion : TET is an effective non-invasive method in the diagnosis of CAD. Some parameters in TET are helpful to predict the severity of CAD.

Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of three kinds of methods: exercise electrocardiography(EE),dobutamine stress echocardiography(DOBE) and ATP stress echocardiography (ATPE) in coronary artery disease(CAD) according to coronary angiography. Methods: There are fifty-six patients who were examined with coronary angiography, EE, DOBE and ATPE. The date of coronary angiography were compared with the three kinds of methods. Results: The sensitivity in the diagnosis of CAD with the three kinds of methods were 77%,83% and 80%,respectively.The specificity were 81%,88% and 96%, respectively. The accuracy were 79%,86%,88%, respectively. Conclusions: The three kinds of methods had high sensitivity and specificity, and reached high diagnostic accuracy. They were lower cost and effective metheds.

Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of immediate electrocardiogarm (IECG) in coronary artery disease (CAD). Method One hundred and two patients were examined by ECG on the spot of chest pain onset or tranquil state, its changes of ST T were compared with those of coronary angiography (CAG) in less than two weeks. Result The sensitivity and specificity of IECG was 94%,78.9%, respectively. Conclusion IECG is of higt value in diagnosing CAD, and also a screening and supplementing mothod for CAG,when used to guide the coronary intervention,it also has limitations at the same time.

Objective:The aim of this study was to assess the diagnostic accuracy of dual-source computed tomography(DSCT) in the evaluation of coronary artery disease(CAD).Methods:Fifty-two patients(44 male,8 female, mean age 70.59) with a high pre-test probability of CAD underwent DSCT coronary angiography and selective coronary angiography(SCA).Two physicians independently assessed the images of all coronary segments. Results:The overall sensitivity, specificity, positive and negative predictive value for evaluating CAD were 92.31%,99.82%,90.57%,and 99.32%,respectively.Conclusion:The result indicates that DSCT coronary angiography provides high diagnostic accuracy for assessment of CAD.And it is a better choice for CAD evaluation.

The lack of reliable mechanical data on coronary arteries and, more specifically, on their wall strength hampers the application of numerical models and simulations to vascular problems, and precludes physicians from knowing in advance the response of coronary arteries to the different interventions. Studies of the mechanical properties of coronary arteries have been carried out almost exclusively on animals. Only a few studies have tried to characterize the in vivo behavior of human coronaries through tests under physiological conditions. In this work, the mechanical properties of human coronary arteries have been characterized. Whole samples from human right (RC) and left anterior descending (LAD) coronary arteries aged between 23 and 83 years have been studied by means of in-vitro tensile testing up to failure.
