Abstract In this paper, dry ashing method, mixed acid nitration (H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O 2 ), three acid digestion (HNO 3 -H 2 SO 4 -HClO 4 ) and aqua-regia-HClO 4 these four test solution preparation method on the decomposition of plant standards GBW07603 processing, use atomic absorption spectrophotometry Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe, Cd, Cr six kinds of metal elements, and the measured values compared with the standard value. The results showed that after dry ashing recoveries higher than Zn recovery after acid digestion; Cu determination should not use dry ashing; Pb determination should not be used mixed acid nitration (H 2 SO 4 -H 2 O 2 ) or tri-acid digestion method (HNO 3 -H 2 SO 4 -HClO 4 );dry ashing treatment after acid digestion Cr yield higher Cr recoveries. Comprehensive analysis of the low carbon content of the metal elements in plant samples (Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe, Cd, Cr) of the measurement, can be aqua-regia-HClO 4 pretreatment method, and for comparing the carbon content high plant samples should be used as a dry ashing pretreatment method. That is, different pretreatment methods for the determination of different analyte have a certain impact.

Preliminary results on multielement analysis of human lung tissues with inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES) are reported. Three different sample preparation procedures have been studied; dry ashing at 450 degrees C or low temperature ashing followed by pressure digestion with aqua regia and hydrofluoric acid or direct acid digestion with nitric-, sulfuric- and perchloric acid.

AbstractMethods for multi-elemental quantitative analysis of soil samples by high-resolution inductively-coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (HR–ICP–MS) with preceding one-step wet digestion in a high-pressure microwave system have been developed. The application of aqua regia as a reagent for wet digestion using a high-pressure microwave digestion system, followed by determination using HR–ICP–MS, allows an accurate, simultaneous determination of a large number of heavy metals and metalloids that are considered as potentially hazardous for the environment and health. The values of the concentrations of the elements in the analysed certified reference material (CRM) that have been obtained in this study can be used as indicative values where this CRM is used as a control for the quality of the measurements. Keywords: inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometrymicrowave digestionrecoverysoiltrace elements
The content of Pd was determined through(1) wet digestion with HNO3-HClO4or ignition at 700℃ to remove carbon,(2) dissolution of the residues by aqua regia and(3) determination of palladium by ICP-AES.Pretreatment of sample, accuracy and precision of the method were discussed. The additional standard recovery is 99%~101%,RSD 1%.The method is simple, accurate and fast.

This study was carried out to investigate variation of heavy metal contents for feed materials during composting and to evaluate the effect of pre-treatment methods on heavy metal analysis. Dry ashing, HNO 3 -HCIO 4 , aqua-regia, HCI reflux, HNO 3 -HCIO 4 -HF, autoclaving methods of HNO 3 , HCI, and HNO 3 (2+1) were used as pre-treatment for heavy metal analysis. In analyzing standard material SRM 2781, recovery efficiencies of pre-treatment methods were 50-60% for Cr and Zn, >100% for Ni, and 80-90% for Cd and Cu. Recovery efficiency of dry ashing for SRM 2781 was the lowest. In composting raw material, Cd concentration by autoclaving methods was 3 to 4 times higher than the other methods and recovery efficiency of dry ashing was also the lowest. During composting, Cd content was the highest in autoclaving. Cr and Cu concentrations were the lowest in dry ashing and aqua-regia, respectively. Variation coefficients of Pb and Zn between pre-treatment methods were generally low.
