Abstract:
The paper proposes a microprocessor-based unit for online identification of the parameters in linear continuous lumped dynamical systems. The unit implements an algorithm which uses the so-called Poisson mement functionals (PMF) of input-output data from the actual process under identification. Keywords:

In the control systems, SPI in microprocessor is mostly used to transmit data in high speed among the microprocessors and other electronic components. The operation principles of SPI in AVR microprocessor are introduced. Then, the implementation of AT90S4433 microprocessor with AT45D081A flash memory is described. Finally, some design experiences are given.

Financial help to apply the benefits of microprocessor technology to UK manufacturing firms is available from the Department of Industry. A sum of £15 million has been allocated to encourage UK industry to apply microprocessor techniques principally to two objectives: first, to get UK manufacturing firms to use microprocessor technology in their own production processes; and second, to get them to incorporate microprocessor devices in their end‐products.

Nowadays microprocessor, which is one of the products of advanced semiconductor technology, is used for various applications. One of the problems, however, in practical use of the microprocessor is its testing. Microprocessor testing is known to be more difficult and less efficient than logic board testing, which results from the fact that external Circuit can hardly access the internal logic circit of the microprocessor. To eliminate the flaw of poor accessability of conventional microprocessors, new concept of Transparent Microprocessor is suggested. Transparent Microprocessor is defined and its organization is suggested in this paper. It is shown that Transparent Microprocessor provides better performance than conventional microprocessors in testing. Further research is required to find out other merits of Transparent Microprocessor.

With the rapid increase of scale and complication of a single chip in microprocessor, the ultra high power density impacts the system stability seriously. This paper presents the power source of microprocessor, analysis the power characteristic of microprocessor; propose the principle for low power design, discusses several typical power optimization techniques in different abstract level. At last, the development trend of the low power design of microprocessor in the future is prospected.

Invented in 1971, the microprocessor evolved from the inventions of the transistor (1947) and the integrated circuit (1958). Essentially a computer on a chip, it is the most advanced application of the transistor. The influence of the microprocessor today is well known, but in 1971 the effect the microprocessor would have on everyday life was a vision beyond even those who created it. This paper presents the history of the microprocessor in the context of the technology and applications that drove its continued advancements.

The application of a dedicated microprocessor to suboptimal excitation control of an a.c. turbogenerator is considered with a minicomputer supervising the complete control strategy of one or more such microprocessor-control schemes in a practical system. Theoretical studies previously reported are confirmed experimentally on a small, but realistically scaled, laboratory-model power system.
