    Productivity Prediction Approach of Complex Tight Gas Reservoir in Yingtai Area

    Abstract:
    Productivity is the core of evaluation of undeveloped reserves. Productivity prediction is the significant content of oilfield plan deploying, development plan, dynamical analysis, oil and gas wells allocation and development plan regulation. As an example of tight gas reservoir in Yingtai area of Jilin Oilfield, according to internal factors in productivity prediction and the lithologic character of this region which consists of volcanic rock and clastic rock, this paper proposes two combination parameters to predict productivity. The different prediction results of these two methods are compared and analyzed. Based on the verification of two wells, “quasi-formation coefficient” has higher precision, the average relative error being 4%. It has reference meaning in the productivity prediction to other gas reservoirs with the same type and similar geologic conditions.     Due to the complex geological condition and changeable productivity,there are many factors effect on the productivity in low porosity and low permeability reservoir.It is difficult to predict productivity.Aiming at this problem and based on the data of sixteen wells of s2 gas pool of Zizhou gas field,10 factors affecting the productivity are selected by using open flow potential as a evaluation index of the gas well productivity.Then we found the key factors by using the methods of grey slope relational analysis,principal component analysis and R cluster analysis.Although there are some differences in the key factors,effective thickness,gas saturation,storage coefficient and formation coefficient are in front.Finally comprehensive analysis indicates that the key factors effecting on the gas well productivity of the reservoir include effective thickness,gas saturation,storage coefficient and formation coefficient.This conclusion has some directive significances for wells and layers selection,fracturing design and fracturing operation.

    S gas reservoir permeability is low,fault development.Lateral continuity of sand on the poor,Gas reservoir on a smaller scale,single well point of existing control fault block gas reservoir,and gas reserves in low abundance,leading to well control the dynamic reserve is low,at low pressure,low production field.Combining with the actual situation gas field,using the single well productivity method,the dynamic prediction method and productivity of well control dynamic reserves formula method etc,Determine reasonable well spacing range of S gas reservoir,the reasonable development of gas reservoir has certain directive significance.

    According to the basic filtration theory and the reasons for the larger deviations of the individual well deliver-ability in position rate,found out the main control factors which affect the single well production capacity,and evaluated and researched the calculation method of oil well productivity in different reservoir types and different wells and so on.Some oil well productivity calculation methods have been developed,such as relationship method between the test capacity and the stable production,testing production method,physical property parameter method,to perfect the oil well productivity calculation method in the blocks for building productivity of the non-thermal oil reservoir,and the average daily production of single well in defined closes to in actual production.

    In this paper, the theoretical equation of the reservoir productivity is studied from the Darcy's two-dimensional production formula. The complicated relation between the productivity and the effective porosity, permeability, resistivity are deduced according to the functional relationship between relative permeability and water saturation. On the basis of the achievements above, the fundamental strategies of predicting the reservoir productivity are discussed. Finally the prediction system of reservoir productivity is established by neural network technique. This system has been successfully applied for the oil-gas productivity prediction of the Keshang Formation in the District 8 of Kelamayi Oil-field and proved to be effective.

    There are many factors affected the production of low permeability reservoir, among which the reservoir pore space, permeability and oiliness are the main factors. Taking H195 well field as an example, through correlation analysis of logging parameters and initial productivity, this paper obtained the main logging parameters that can reflect the reservoir characteristics, and established productivity prediction models of productivity coefficient and aggregate index. By analyzing the results of the two methods, we turned the productivity prediction technology from single well to single sand layer, obtained successive evaluation parameters of reservoir productivity, and then optimized main layers and main contributed parts, which could guide the design of horizontal well trajectory.

    The prediction and evaluation of reservoir productivity is a comprehensive index of the dynamic characteristics of gas reservoirs, which can provide a reasonable basis for the design and rational distribution of gasfield development plan. Proration of gas well is an important procedure in the development process, Absolute open flow as a key indicator of rational production of gas well. It is very important to determine the absolute open flow of the gas well. The Permian in Ordos Basin is a typical tight sandstone gas reservoir. The paper analyses correlation relations between different logging parameters and absolute open flow, and get the four parameters, porosity, permeability, storage coefficient(the product of porosity and effective thickness)with better correlation relations and effective thickness with best correlation relation by combining a large amount of gas logging data and static logging data and means of linear regression analysis, Then on the basis of this, a new empirical formula for calculating the absolute open flow of gas wells is obtained by using the method of multiple linear regression. The example shows that the result of this method is reasonable and reliable and the method can provide scientific basis for the prediction of natural gas absolute open flow of tight sandstone gas reservoirs.

    The Wenbakuai condensate gas reservoir in Wenjisang region,Xinjiang Province,belongs in a low-porosity,low-permeability and seriously heterogeneous reservoir.Because of lacking of well testing data,it is difficult to use the conventional methods,such as the productivity equation determined by well testing data and gas productivity index method or one-point method,etc.,to determine productivity.According to gas well percolation flow theory,a gas well productivity equation is analyzed on the basis of the binomial productivity equation;the new methods of determining gas well productivity,i.e.open-flow capacity per unit square formation pressure method and gas productivity index per unit formation conductivity method,are proposed;and an example is taken for calculating by these methods in the paper.Finally,in combination with gas well serial fluid draining and numerical simulation,the reasonable productivities and proration indexes of the gas wells in the region are determined in accordance with a certain proration principles,which provides a theoretical basis and technical support for drawing up and implementing development plan and deepens the research on gas reservoir engineering.These methods may be popularized and applied to the other gas reservoirs or condensate gas reservoir.

    The grey degree of relevance analysis between main reservoir geologic parameters such as crude viscosity, net pay thickness, porosity, permeability, oil saturation, reservoir depth and steam injection volume and productivities from twenty one blocks in northwestern margin of Xinjiang oilfield shows a good relationship between them by the fact that a closed relationship between these parameters and conductivity or deliverability. The regression analysis also shows that complex nonlinear relationships occur between them. With Cobd-Douglas equation, this paper presents the successful match of it and develops the deliverability equation based on reservoir geologic parameter for direct prediction of heavy oil productivity. Moreover, three heavy oil blocks in Karamay oil field are forecasted using this equation and the results indicate that this method is feasible.

    To survey He-8 member tight sand reservoir with low porosity and permeability in Mizhi gas field in Ordos basin, using the conventional well log data, this paper proposes the tight sand reservoir productivity prediction model and classification criterion based on BP neural network, getting quick classification of gas well productivity. We can predict sand reserve quantitatively instead qualitatively with the methods.Applications show that the methods of productivity prediction are effective and practical.

    It does not have a mature method to predict the production capacity of oil and gas reservoir by logging data.Because of acidic volcanic reservoir with strong heterogeneity,big change of productivity in the studied area,it is difficult to predict the reservoir productivity.Based on the study of the natural gas well logging response characteristics,we propose the method of neutron-density porosity combination, NMR-density porosity,transverse and longitudinal wave velocity ratio,comprehensive parameter to reflect gas reservoir characteristics.Combining with the comprehensive parameter and effective thickness,we get the productivity index to identify the reservoir productivity grade.Based on the difference of the contribution degree of the reservoir porosity,saturation,permeability and effective thickness,we establish reservoir productivity calculation model using different index.The method is applied to predict the volcanic reservoir productivity in Xushen gas field.The reservoir level prediction accuracy rate is 90%,the relative error is lower and the effect is better.It provides accurate data for layer selection of natural gas test.
