Reluctance motor
This paper introduces a kind of single-phase switched reluctance motor based on 4/4 pole structure. The motor structure, working principle and its drive circuit are described. And some of its special features and advantages are discussed. Then the reliable performance of this motor system is verified by experiments. So this kind of single-phase switched reluctance motor drive system is considered to have some application value and meaning of research.

This paper verifies the proposed methodology of a novel Dual-mode Reluctance Motor which can switch the motor mode between a switched reluctance motor and a synchronous reluctance motor to enhance the high efficiency region. Theoretically, the iron loss of a synchronous reluctance motor mode is low with respect to that of a switched reluctance motor mode in higher rotational speed and low power region because of the lower iron loss specification of the synchronous reluctance motor. In this paper, the current waveforms of both the switched reluctance motor mode and the synchronous reluctance motor mode are realized, then, the motor specification can be switched. Also, the test results of the DRM are carried out at the low speed and low torque region is carried out to check the variation of the motor specification.

This paper describes the basic design of Switched Reluctance Motor, and the characteristics of drive. Switched reluctance motor is one motor belonging to rare earth free. We built the test motor by performing the basic design of the Switched Reluctance motor is possible. And since the good result was obtained when characteristics of the test motor were measured and the characteristics were compared with PMSM of same size, we report.

A current superimposition variable flux reluctance motor for a traction motor of electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles are proposed. This motor can be driven using a 6-phase asymmetric inverter which is used to drive a switched reluctance motor. However, it is difficult to obtain a high efficiency in a low-speed and high-torque region. In order to solve this problem, a switching operation between the current superimposition variable flux reluctance motor and a switched reluctance motor is proposed in this paper.

The basic work principle and mathematical model based on the research of the switched reluctance motor, using finite element software to establish the simulation model of dual redundant switched reluctance motor. Through the analysis of the theory of switched reluctance motor, the motor's flux characteristic, inductance characteristics and torque characteristics are compared and study the influence law of motor structure parameters on dual redundant switched reluctance motor, thus optimal parameters of dual redundant switched reluctance motor are determined. Using the optimized Angle of switched reluctance motor switch on and off, through the comparison of motor flux characteristics, inductance characteristics and torque characteristics before and after optimization, show that the electromagnetic characteristics of double redundant switched reluctance motor optimized is significantly better than before, which has certain guiding significance for the design of dual redundancy switch reluctance motor in different applications.

Switched reluctance motor is analyzed by using FE termed as ANSOFT.With the calculation and analysis of the electromagnetic field in switched reluctance motor,optimal zone where switch reluctance motor runs is achieved,and then the simulate results lay a foundation of analysis and control of switched reluctance motor.

This paper proposes a novel Dual-mode Reluctance Motor which can switch the motor mode between a switched reluctance motor and a synchronous reluctance motor to enhance the high efficiency region. It is found that the efficiency of a synchronous reluctance motor mode is high with respect to that of a switched reluctance motor mode in higher rotational speed and low power region because of the lower iron loss specification of the synchronous reluctance motor. This enhancement of the high efficiency region is suitable for electric vehicle application.

The three-phase switched reluctance motor direct torque control method mostly is a simple transplantation of the three-phase AC asynchronous motor direct torque control method, not suitable for arbitrary-phase switched reluctance motor. In this paper, the direct torque control method for the application of a wide range of four-phase switched reluctance motor will be researched, the structural methods of a four-phase switched reluctance motor flux vector and the choice principle of voltage vector are put forward, the direct torque control system for four-phase switched reluctance motor has been achieved. The results of the method and control rules are easy to extend to arbitrary-phase switched reluctance motor, the foundation of arbitrary-phase switched reluctance motor direct torque control will be established.
