Abstract:
Removed.As to `overkilled' in VisuShrink when denoising, we extract some wavelets overkilled at the base of region correlation, so that it can deserved more details of image information. The experiments show that the improved method reserved more details information compared with VisuShrink, it is efficient in image denoising.

In order to wipe off all kinds of noisy influence in the detection of pavement surface cracks,the advantages and disadvantages of the existing denoising models were analyzed.Combined with the advantages of the existing denoising algorithms and characteristics of the noise and crack information of pavement image,a novel multilevel denoising model based on the detection of pavement crack was presented.The whole denoising model was composed of gray denoising model,spatial filtering denoising model,crack characteristics denoising model and geometrical features denoising model.The experimental results indicate that the proposed model is more advanced in the pavement image denoising and the extraction of crack.

In this work, we present and analyze an image denoising method, the NL-means algorithm, based on a non local averaging of all pixels in the image. We also introduce the concept of method noise, that is, the difference between the original (always slightly noisy) digital image and its denoised version. Finally, we present some experiences comparing the NL-means results with some classical denoising methods.

This paper presents a new complex wavelet-based image denoising method by combining M -band complex wavelet and Locally Adaptive Windo-based denoising using MAP. Comparing with the related earlier techniques, the experimental results demonstrate an improved denoising perfor- (mance) is achieved.

The nonlocal means filter plays an important role in image denoising. We propose in this paper an image denoising model which is a suitable improvement of the nonlocal means filter. We compare this model with the nonlocal means filter, both theoretically and experimentally. Experiment results show that this new model provides good results for image denoising. Particularly, it is better than the nonlocal means filter when we consider the denoising for natural images with high textures.

Through analysis shortcoming of the ROF(Rudin,Osher and Fatemi) model and LLT(Lysaker,Lundervold and Tai) model in denoising processing,and the difference between texture and noise,combining decomposition model,TV-norm and fourth-order PDE,the article proposes the DD(decomposition and denoising) model.When processing noise image,the new model decompose an noisy image into three parts,structure,texture and noise,and thas achieves denoising and decomposition. Further through the experiments,we testify rationality and validity of the DD model and the algorithm.

This paper presents a novel four order adaptive (FOA) PDE method for denoising of magnetic resonance (MR) images. FOA method can adjust the diffusion speed according to the local structure of the image and preserve more details in MRI data. Denoising results on T-1 and T-2 weight MR images are given. We have also compared our method with related PDE models.

We introduced and compared ten denoisingfilters which are all proposed during last fifteen years. Especially, the state-of-art denoisingalgorithms, NLM and BM3D, have attracted much attention. Several expansions are proposed to improve the noise reduction based on these two algorithms. On the other hand, optimal dictionaries, sparse representations and appropriate shapes of the transform's support are also considered for the image denoising. The comparison among variousfiltersis implemented by measuring the SNR of a phantom image and denoising effectiveness of a clinical image. The computational time is finally evaluated.
