Noise performance of spectrum sliced microwave photonic filters in non-constant dispersive media

A new stochastic noise model for spectrum sliced microwave photonic filters using delay lines with nonconstant dispersion is presented. Noise increase and suppression due to the dispersion slope are shown for the first time.
