Influence of Speckle on Detection Precision of Spot

Based on random phase screen,numerical simulation of laser beam propagation on atmospheric turbulence paths is carried out.The center of speckle which formed in the detector surface located in laser receiver has been calculated by center of mass coordinate formula.The result of calculation indicates that:with the turbulence intensity and propagation distance increases,the amount of spot centric off-target become larger,in the moderate turbulence intensity ( 2= 5×10 14m 32) and 1 km propagation distance conditions,the error of detection precision induced by speckle effect can reach more than 10 rad.
