Información terapéutica, satisfacción y confianza en fisioterapia: instrumentos de medida y estudio correlacional en centros de fisioterapia de Andalucía Oriental

espanolEsta tesis doctoral elabora y valida 3 cuestionarios originales: “Informacion Terapeutica Percibida por pacientes de fisioterapia”, “Informacion Terapeutica Proporcionada por el fisioterapeuta” y “Confianza depositada en el fisioterapeuta”. Asimismo, se realiza la adaptacion transcultural y la validacion al espanol del cuestionario de Satisfaccion MedRisk y del cuestionario de Confianza en el proveedor de salud WAKE FOREST. Todos altamente fiables y validos. Se realiza un estudio descriptivo en una n=333 pacientes y n=73 fisioterapeutas de 25 centros de fisioterapia de Andalucia Oriental elegidos aleatoriamente (4 hospitales, 6 centros de salud, 15 consultas privadas). Se evalua la Informacion, Satisfaccion y Confianza y otras variables influyentes. La Informacion se asocia con centros privados, pacientes jovenes y mejoria de salud. La Satisfaccion con mayor nivel academico y mejora de salud y la Confianza con mayor tiempo de sesion y mejora de salud. Informacion, Satisfaccion y Confianza se asocian positivamente, sobre todo Satisfaccion y Confianza. EnglishThis PHD thesis develops and validates three original questionnaires: "Therapeutic Information Perceived by physical therapy patients", "Therapeutic Information Provided by the physiotherapist" and "Patient Trust into the physiotherapist". Also, was performed a cross-cultural adaptation and spanish validation of "MedRisk instrument for measuring patient satisfaction with physical therapy care” and “Patients trust in their primary care providers WAKE FOREST questionnaire". All instruments are highly reliable and valid. A descriptive study was performed in n=333 patients and n=73 physiotherapists from 25 physiotheraphy centers in Eastern Andalucia randomly selected (4 hospitals, 6 Primary healthcare centres and 15 private consultations). The study evaluated the information, the satisfaction, trust and other influential variables. Patient information was associated to private centers, younger patients and health improvement. Satisfaction was associated with high level education and improved health, and Trust with a longer session and improving health. Information, Satisfaction and Trust were positively associated, especially Satisfaction and Trust.
