Vacuum, heat and coal reduction method for extracting metal magnesium from magnesium oxide ore

2005
This invention relates to a metallothermic processes for magnesia mine coal. This invention uses magnesia or dolomite as raw materials, coal as reducer, after the raw material and coal are breaked up, mixed and made to grains, in the internal heating vacuum furnace, under the vacuum of 5i½45Pa, and during the charring temperature of 500i½800iµ and time of 30i½60minu¼it completes material charring, and then it does reucing reaction during the temperature of 1300i½1600iµ for 45-60 minutes, at last it gets the crystal metal magnesium whose pure degree reaches up to 90uN under the temperatre of 600i½800 iµ, wherein coked agglomerate, reducing, and condensation all in the vacuum furnace.
