Substation equipment temperature monitoring and early warning system

2011
The utility model discloses a substation equipment temperature monitoring and early warning system. The system comprises a monitoring host, a wireless base station, and collectors. The monitoring host is connected with the wireless base station through data lines. The wireless base station is connected with the collectors through wireless communication. A monitoring and early warning software and a communication interface software are run in the monitoring host. Each of the collectors consists of a single chip microcomputer, a temperature sensor chip, a wireless communication chip and a battery. According to the system, by installing the collectors at monitoring points to realize real-time monitoring and collection of temperature information and transferring the temperature information to the monitoring host through a wireless network, the real-time monitoring and timely early warning of equipment overheating caused by various defects and failures of power-transmission equipment can be realized to remind operators to perform processing timely so as to prevent the occurrence of accidents.
