Life endangering tumors in the ENT region in children.

Summary Forty children with life-endangering tumors localized in the ENT region were treated during the last 10 years at two clinics in Poland: the Oncological Clinic in Warsaw and the Otolaryngological Children's Clinic in Lodź. In this group there were 29 malignant tumors of different pathology, and 11 non-malignant tumors that became life-endangering because of their size and localization. These children were treated, dependent on the nature of the tumor, with surgery, chemotherapy and X-ray therapy.
