Disfunción sexual femenina: estudio de prevalencia en mujeres premenopáusicas

espanolObjetivo: determinar la prevalencia de la disfuncion sexual femenina en mujeres premenopausicas. Material y metodos: estudio descriptivo longitudinal prospectivo. Se selecciono aleatoriamente una muestra de 120 mujeres, de acuerdo al calculo del tamano muestral, en un centro de salud de la Comunidad de Madrid. Las participantes rellenaron de manera anonima el cuestionario diagnostico validado indice de funcion sexual femenina en noviembre de 2015 y de nuevo, tras seis meses, en mayo de 2016. Los criterios de exclusion fueron edad inferior a 30 anos, mujeres con menopausia diagnosticada y encuestas mal cumplimentadas. Resultados: la edad media fue 38,8, con una distribucion no normal segun el test de Lilliefors. La mediana fue de 37 anos y el rango 23. El corte para el diagnostico de disfuncion sexual femenina fue una puntuacion total Las perdidas no nos permitieron resultados estadisticamente significativos en la segunda etapa. Conclusion: la prevalencia de disfuncion sexual femenina en premenopausicas en Espana 33,3% (IC 95%). EnglishAim: To determine the prevalence of female sexual dysfunction among premenopausal women. Material and methods: Longitudinal study. 120 women were selected in a clinic in Madrid, according with the sample size calculation. The participants completed the validated female sexual function index questionnaire to make the diagnosis of female sexual dysfunction in November of 2015 and in May of 2016 again. They made it anonymously. Age under 30, previous diagnosis of menopause, and incorrectly completed questionnaires were the exclusion criteria. Results: Mean female age was 38.8 in a non-normal distribution according to Lilliefor’s test. The median was 37 and the range was 23. A diagnosis of female sexual dysfunction with a total punctuation >26.5 at female sexual function index. The prevalence of female sexual dysfunction was 33.3%. 95% of the women with female sexual dysfunction had more than one type of disorder of female sexual dysfunction according to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-V classification. Female Sexual Interest-Arousal Disorder was the most common. We had too many losts to have significance on our results of the second stage. Conclusion: The prevalence of female sexual dysfunction in premenopausal women in Spain is 33.3% (CI 95%).
