The Relationship between Metacognition Knowledge and Self-efficacy in English Reading Comprehension for Non-English Majors

This paper introduces the metacognition theory and self-efficacy theory,reporting the relationship between metacognition knowledge and self-efficacy in English reading comprehension for non-English majors.The research results show that non-English majors have a high level of metacognition knowledge and self-efficacy,and there is no direct relationship between metacognition knowledge and self-efficacy in English reading comprehension.
