Transverse elastic waves propagating along symmetry directions of piezoelectric superlattices

We have obtained in closed form the dispersion relation of the transverse elastic waves propagating in symmetry directions of superlattices made with two piezoelectric cubic crystals, when all interfaces are metallized. An application is made to the GaAs-AlAs superlattice with (001) and (110) interfaces.
