Method of producing catalyst for hydrogenation of nitriles to amines and method of nitriles hydrogenation with use of produced catalyst

1994
FIELD: catalytic hydrogenation of nitriles to amines and, in particular, dinitriles such as adiponitrile to diamines such as hexamethylenediamine. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of catalyst for hydrogenation of nitriles to amines of Raney nickel type, modified with at least one metal taken from one of groups IVB, VB and VIB of the periodic system. The method consists in suspending of Raney nickel in solution, preferably acid, of selected metal. EFFECT: simplification of the method, its economical efficiency allowing production of simultaneous active and selective, with respect to nitriles, and stable catalysts. 20 cl
