A novel domain decomposition method for general composite objects
2016
In this paper, a novel integral equation domain decomposition method (IE-DDM) using electric/magnetic current combined-field integral equation (JMCFIE) is proposed for analyzing electromagnetic (EM) scattering and radiation from general composite objects. It provides a flexible method to decompose a complex composite domain into easily solvable non-overlapping sub-domains. Both electric/magnetic field interactions and Robin-type transmission conditions are taken into account to avoid the unphysical reflections at sub-domain interfaces. The convergence of the outer-iterative scheme of the proposed DDM is inversigated theoretically and demonstrated to be very good. Accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method are demonstrated through numerical experiment.
