RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OBTAINING METHODS AND PIEZOELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF THE PZT TYPE CERAMIC

There are many possibilities of uses of the piezoelectric materials in the present microelectronic it’s caused by the stability of the parameters in these materials. They are used as transducers between electrical and mechanical energy, piezomotors, actuators, wave filters, microphones, microrobots. Understanding microscopic origin of a high sensitivity of polarization of ferroelectric oxides to applied field, in the case of the piezoelectricity can lead to the optimization of these properties. This optimization could be done in many ways, for example by the choice of appropriate chemical composition or by the changing obtaining method [1-6]. Authors are focused on obtaining method of the PZT type ceramic as modification of basic ceramic properties. Two methods are used to obtaining ceramic materials: conventional ceramics sintering and hot pressing. As well known as a result of uses conventional ceramics sintering method, ceramics with large grain size and big porosity is obtained. Increasing of the porosity, in the direct way, has interaction with density of ceramic. It’s lead to the decreasing of the quality of these materials. The second method of obtaining ceramic which was used was hot pressing method. This method is much better than conventional ceramics sintering cause obtained materials has smaller grain size, smaller porosity and higher density. The aim of the work was show relationship between obtaining methods and piezoelectric properties of the PZT type ceramic. 2. EXPERIMENTAL METHOD
