H_2O_2 Biosensor Based on Azure I Incorporated into Nafion Film and CdS Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode

2008
The H2O2 biosensor was prepared from a Nafion film coated Glassy Carbon Electrode(GCE).The Azure I was immobilized via electrostatic force between the negatively charged sulfonic acid groups in Nafion film and the cation of Azure I.The horseradish peroxidase(HRP) adsorption on CdS nanoparticles was modified to the surface of glassy carbon electrode to form a good H2O2 Biosensor by self-Assembly technology and electrostatic. The electrochemical characteristics of the biosensor were characterized by cyclic voltammetry(CV) and chronoampermetry. The experimental results indicated that the sensor possessed high catalytic activity, relatively higher sensitivity, better selectivity, stability, and easy production. The response current was linear with the concentration of H2O2 antigen in the range of 8.0×10-6 and 1.6×1013mol/L respectively under the optimum conditions, and the detection limit was found to be 2.72×10-6mol/L.
