Woman's health and the body

The study aimed to develop a theoretical reflection on the thematic "body" during womans life course events in the phenom- enological perspective and the research methods used in their approach, led by fac- ulty of Womens Health area at the School of Nursing, University of Sao Paulo. This theme was chosen due to the centrality acquired by the body in contemporary soci- ety and the relevance of the topic. In this paper we show its applicability in the field of Women's Health, the results of some studies using different methods, focusing on the body on womans life course events.
