Influence of Strontium Substitution on Ferroelectric–Relaxor Transition in PLZT (7/60/40)

2010
In the typical ferroelectric, (Pb1−xLax)(ZryTi1−y)O3 [PLZT (7/60/40)] crossover to the relaxor phase has been achieved by isovalent A-site substitution. Dielectric, ferroelectric, electric field-induced strain, and structural studies reveal that the influence of the chemical substituent strontium on this crossover is qualitatively similar to pressure-induced effects in compositionally disordered perovskites.
