A new flux concentration type electromagnetic pump for FBR

Abstract An electromagnetic linear pump of novel design for the transportation of liquid sodium in the Fast Breeder Reactor is described. The pump parameters have been examined both numerically and experimentally. Some results are quoted. The advantages of the pump have pointed out and proved by a comparative analysis.
