Histopathological observation of pseudorabies in swine.

2009
The materials including the brain, liver, kidney, spleen, lymph nodes of pigs that were diagnosed to be pseudorabies disease were observed by the freezing sections and HE dyeing.Histopathological changes demonstrated the following symptoms: Swollen meninges, dilatate and congested capillary vessel, parts of glial cells formed nodules, and eosinophilic inclusion can be seen in the neurons and the glial cells. An amount of blue-violet broken pieces of the nucleus and swollen hepatic cell with vacuolar degeneration can be seen in the necrosis focus of the liver. The hepatic cord in lobules of liver was in disorder. The spleen structure becomes loose with limpid necrsis focus. The splenic nodul and lymphocute decreased and reticular cell got hyperplasia.Epithelia of nephric tububle showed desquamation and granular degeneration with residual cord-like basement membrane.Lymph node swelled,a large number of hemosiderin crystal particles were found in the swollen lymph nodes.Eosinophilic inclusion can be seen in the lymphocute.
