Agricultural Professionals Exposed to Pesticides & COVID-19, Perspectives of Their Immunity and Safety, A Review

Pesticides are commonly used in our agriculture system for controlling g the insect pests, diseases and weeds. There is an important role of pesticides in our food chain and health systems. Unsafe use of pesticides in pandemic situation caused by COVID-19, may lead to reduction of immunity level in individuals exposed to sub lethal doses of pesticides. Arial sprays of pesticides are reported to be carcinogenic specially for those workers, who are directly exposed to pesticides. Pesticides are harmful for the people’s immune system. Strengthened immune system is first wall of safety against COVID-19. So, when people are doing every possible activity to strength their immune system, they must also consider very safe use of pesticides. Showers of pesticides are suggested to be avoided for a better chance to survive in pandemic.
