Generación de Base de Datos Hidrológica Espacial Mediante PostgreSQL en conexión con QGIS. Caso de Aplicación: Sur de la Provincia de Santa Fe

This work generated a spatial hydrological database (SHD) for the south of Santa Fe, non-existent until now, using the free software PostgreSQL, in connection with the free software QGIS, in which the systematizations of geomatic processes were made. In order to do this, it was necessary to carry out an exhaustive information gathering as well as its processing, generation and simulation. The variables collected to process and input to the SHD were: digital elevation model, runoff networks, reservoirs, types of land use, types of soils, daily rainfall, and monthly climatic variables. As a generated variable, flood valleys were achieved, and with respect to the simulated ones, daily climatic and hydrological variables were obtained. In order to transfer to the environment, all geospatial information will be uploaded to the faculty's website, and will be available to the population.
