Smart home cleansing appliance-an initiative for smart living

With the inception of cleansing machine in early 19 th century, automated machine controlled floor cleaners were introduced for the sake of the betterment of mankind. Here after the elapse of several decades the authors follow the same tradition of modernizing automated machines. The attempt to design a smart home cleaning appliance is thus a continuous research effort to mobilize mechatronics in our daily lives. The authors primarily simulated the proposed model using PARTSIM and later on the hardware model was designed and was successfully tested on all conditions. The tested results are in good agreement with the simulated model.
