Towards a drug information interoperability mechanism

2017
The diversity of drug information is encountered among the general public such as patients, and the health community. In this case, are doctors, pharmacist assistants, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical installations, which provides a complex information exchange feature in terms of drugs naming as well as active substance content, indications, side effects and etc. Health care stakeholders have build web services and dynamic website according to their individual needs and not yet integrated. A drug Information application is available in the pharmacy for both private and public, they are developed using different database structure, so a drug information interoperability mechanism is required without having to change the database structure that has been built. The proposed research method is implementing semantic approach and ontology.
