Multiplying Disks with Uncertain Radii

Abstract An explicit formula for a product of n disks in the complex plane completes the circular arithmetic technique. New theorem extends circular arithmetic on case of unknown disk's radii and yields numerous applications in robust stability analysis. One of them, namely Nyquist test (or a small gain theorem) for cascade connection of uncertain SISO blocks, is considered.
