Note on acoustic scattering from random‐amplitude/random‐phase sinusoidal sea surfaces

An alternative approach is used to obtain a previously derived result for the acoustic field scattered by a random‐amplitude/random‐phase sinusoidal surface. The current approach is somewhat lengthier than that used earlier, but is straightforward and uses traditional concepts of probability theory.
