Synthesis and adsorption property of magnetic Zn(II)-ion surface imprinted polymer its

2015
The magnetic Zn(Ⅱ) ion-imprinted MAA-SALO polymer was prepared by surface ion imprinting technique. The polymer prepared used magnetic Fe_3O_4@SiO_2 microspheres as supporter,Zn(Ⅱ) ion as template, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinker. The structures of products were characterized by FT-IR,VSM and SEM.The adsorption experiments showed that the polymer was employed successfully in comparison with non-imprinted polymer. When the temperature was in a range of 291 K to 297 K,and the optimized pH value of 6.0,the adsorption reached to equilibrium within the period of 40 min.The sorption followed pseudo-second-order kinetics, the maximum adsorption capacity reached about52.69mg/g.Thermodynamic experiment showed that the adsorption was a endothermic process for Zn(II).The experimental data followed the Langmuir adsorption model.
