Protectionism or Open market- A 5/20 rule dilemma

Abstract: This case study deals with the political 5/20 rule dilemma, that the government is facing from the privately operated air carriers in India. Strategically this case study is of good importance from the perspective of the national policy makers who wants to arrive at a decision that will serve the best interest of the nation and the air craft industry. This case study mainly discusses in details the political war between some top notch aircraft companies and what they want from the government.
