Development of a Controller Unit for Multispectral Imaging System

This article introduces the development of a controller unit to control a multispectral imaging system applied in an underwater robot for collecting geoscientific data from flooded mines. The paper describes other geoscientific sensors of the robot-platform and explains the theory of the multispectral unit. During the development it was a great challenge to satisfy the size restrictions of the circuit and the delay of the electronics. It is also described that how is this unit works within the robot’s system and introduces what we achieved with it during the last 2 years of laboratory and real-environmental testing.
