Design and Synthesis of Chiral Binaphthol‐Derived Bisphosphoric Acids and Their Application in the Catalytic Enantioselective Hydrogenation of Quinolines.

A series of binaphthol-based bisphosphoric acids were successfully developed with inclusion of rigid cyclic phosphamide and phosphonate motifs. These chiral bisphosphoric acids were used as chiral organocatalysts in the hydrogen transformation of a series of quinolines to investigate their enantioselective catalytic activity.
