Rare urological tumours as well as other uncommon neoplasms present a specificity in clinical research, organization of the assistance and investigational methodology. The origin of these differences compared to the most common cancers comes from the paucity of cases, the dispersion of patients, the differences in management of the diseases, the slow recruitment in clinical studies and few economical resources destined for rare tumours. All these reasons lead to different levels of assistance and clinical results among the patients with rare neoplasms. The present article proposes specific solutions in particular for uncommon urological neoplasms.
