Las actividades de campo en Educación Secundaria. Un estudio comparativo entre Dinamarca y España

This study begins by emphasizing the role that fieldtrips play in the achievement of our students� scientific and environmental literacy, as well as in increasing their motivation to study science. Then it summarizes some of the most relevant characteristics of fieldtrips and compares the corresponding main features of the Danish education system with the current one in the Community of Madrid. A real consistency between the standards set by the education authorities and the support measures available for teachers and schools seem to be a key factor when it comes to improving educational practice and teachers´ satisfaction.
