Manganese-ion-activated yttrium calcium phosphate fluorescent powder and preparation method thereof
2016
The invention discloses a manganese-ion-activated yttrium calcium phosphate fluorescent powder and a preparation method thereof. The chemical composition of the fluorescent powder is Ca[3-x]YGd(PO4)4:xMn , wherein x is 0.05-0.20. The method comprises the following steps: S1. weighing a raw material mixture of calcium carbonate, yttrium oxide, gadolinium oxide, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and manganous nitrate according to the stoichiometric proportion of Ca[3-x]YGd(PO4)4:xMn , wherein x is 0.05-0.20; S2. adding a fluxing agent, grinding and uniformly mixing to obtain a mixture; and S3. adding the mixture obtained in the step S2 into a crucible, sintering in a high-temperature furnace at 1400-1600 DEG C in a reducing atmosphere, and cooling, wherein the fluxing agent accounts for 0.7-0.9 wt% of the raw materials, and the fluxing agent is a mixture of ammonium sulfide and boron trioxide in a weight ratio of (6-8):1. The yttrium calcium phosphate fluorescent powder disclosed by the invention has the advantages of high luminescent intensity and high stability; the advantages are related to the weight ratio of ammonium sulfide to boron trioxide in the fluxing agent; and when the weight ratio of sodium bicarbonate to sodium sulfide is (6-8):1, the fluorescent powder has the highest luminescent intensity.
