Safe, innovative and sustainable underground mining

The 11th Underground Operators' Conference will be held in Canberra, 21-23 March 2011 and has the theme of 'Safe, Innovative, and Sustainable' mining. In the wake of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) and the ongoing discussion of new taxation regimes, this conference looks ahead at how underground mining operators can work toward ensuring a sustainable mining industry by building on its progress in innovation and safety in underground mining operations.
